The story of Adidas

For many, Adidas origins may be somewhat controversial: the company’s founder, Adolf Dassler, fought on the German side during World War I and joined the Nazi party during World War II. Returning from battles during World War I, Dassler began making sneakers in his mother’s kitchen. He was initially joined by his younger brother Rudolf, but after the fall, Rudolf left the company and founded a company that would later be one of Adidas’ hottest competitors, Puma.
